So here it is folks the Addon of the week. This week we take a look at Chinchilla Minimap. Chinchilla Minimap alters the Blizzard Minimap in a way to provide much nicer features and other niceties. This means if you are bored with your minimap being a circle you can change it to a square or, say you want to bring the minimap to the bottem of your sreen this addon is for you.

Did You Miss It
On Aug 2 in Germany the two top guilds did a speed run in Ulduar. Ensidia Vs Method was great so if you missed it check it out, on demand http://wow.allvatar.com/rex/1271-0-Plantronics-Battle-of-the-Best-GCO-2009-Ensidia-Method-Summary.html . I found the tactics that the two guilds used were very interesting.

Addon of the week
Here we go guys yet another new thing added to the site. Every week I'll be adding an addon that I suggest to the blog. This week its Bartender 4, Bartender 4 is a full ActionBar replacement mod. It provides you with all the features needed to fully customization most aspects of your action and related bars. This mod takes the boring WoW action bar and lets you customize it however you like. So try it out and we'll be seeing you.

Ulduar - We have come for you!

Our 25 man raid group has made it thorugh Naxxramas 25. We made it past Thaddius, and Gluth, we downed Kel Thuzad, we even got the achievement for completing the arachnid quarter in 20 minutes. Our time there is done....for now.
So naturally we are moving into Ulduar. Some of our members had never stepped foot into Ulduar. Not even on 10 man. Our first night in, we downed Flame Leviathon, even though we started the fight early and spent nearly five minutes summoning latecomers into the raid during the trash fights. We downed him first try WITH the Shut-Out achievement. This is the achievement you recieve for downing him without bringing down his turrets. We did this without even throwing a dps on his back, just straight vehicle dps. It was awesome!
We spent the next 1 1/2 hours working on XT-002. He is a bit harder and it took us all night to figure out the mechanics. We did not down him the first evening, but we felt good about our kill of Flame Leviathon. We went in the next evening and worked for another hour or so on XT, it was difficult but we started to understand how to handle the light bombs, the gravity bombs and the adds in the back. Eventually we succeeded. It was a great feeling.
On to Razorscale, he was nicknamed the "Guild breaker" when Ulduar was first released. He is definitely a tough fight. We learned to stay out of the blue fire, we learned to spread out to avoid the chain lightning and to take out the Setinels as soon as they spawn....ok so we have almost learned these things. To be honest this fight is kicking our butts. Still I cannot be mad. I feel immense pride in how our group has grown and I know we will continue to grow. This is not the easiest fight we have faced, in fact, it may be the hardest so far. I know it will take time and some work, but we will OWN Razorscale, and then we will be off to bang our head on another boss, Ignis, Kologarn....one step at a time.
Raiders who are reading this blog, do your homework, watch the fight on tankspot or you tube or better yet, both. The more you understand about how the fight goes, the easier it will be to learn your job and how to do it effectively. See you all on Wednesday!

Long Time Coming!!!
I know, I know...it has been four months since my last post, things have really changed in WoW and for AOTH. Enoobe is once again our leader, some of our officers have left and some new ones are being appointed. We are restructuring the guild vault, and all of it will be discussed at the guild meeting on Dec. 6th. I will post more information about that after the meeting. But for now lets get to the fun stuff! Some of us got together to meet in person in Tennessee this month. We got some great pics, but before I release them all to you, we thought it would be fun to play a game and see who could match our real life faces with our toons....so for a 20 SLOT BAG...leave us a reply to this post with your guesses from left to right back row, middle row, then front row. I can tell you that this picture includes, Celious, Cateronya, Ayonna, Enoobe, Ashesintime, Tuantuan, Elvesblood, and Killerchick, in no particular order. I look forward to reading all of your posts and the winner will be announced at the Dec. 6th Meeting.
